A very generous partner who knows and understands the mission and effectiveness of the Pennsylvania Family Institute has presented us with a challenge gift of $50,000 – to spur others to give generously to our work. Please consider being a part of meeting this challenge: pafamily.org/challenge

Thank you for your continued prayers for Alexis Lightcap and the Boyertown Six

The student privacy lawsuit has been petitioned to the United States Supreme Court and right now various organizations are writing friend-of-the-court (amicus) briefs in support of the petition, all on behalf of Alexis Lightcap and the Boyertown Six. These courageous students are standing up for all of us in defending student bodily privacy rights.

As Alexis puts it (and recently quoted in The Weekly Standard):

"I don't have a problem sharing a bathroom with someone who identifies as transgender—provided they are the same sex I am. I do have trouble with a policy that says anyone who's in an opposite-sex mood today can stroll in and observe me in my intimate moments...There are 13-, 14-year-old girls in this school. I don't want them walking into a male in the bathroom."

Thank you for your continued prayers for Alexis, these Boyertown students and the outcome of this case.

Join the team this summer: Intern with PA Family Institute

The Pennsylvania Family Institute is actively recruiting college-student interns for Summer 2019 in our downtown Harrisburg offices, two blocks from the state capitol.

The program provides students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in nonprofit government relations and participate in the daily operations of a policy organization. Interns will become familiar with the intricacies of the Pennsylvania legislative process and the philosophy behind and methodology of implementing pro-family public policies by working side-by-side with PFI's policy staff. These internships are paid.

Interested students should forward a resume and pre-interview letter, or direct questions to: Emily Kreps, Internship Coordinator: E-mail: ekreps@pafamily.org; phone (717) 545-0600.
