I remember the day vividly as I settled into a small, one-room office in Harrisburg, excited to lead this new organization and give voice to families like yours across Pennsylvania. By God's grace, and thanks to people like you partnering with us, we now have become Pennsylvania's leading pro-life, pro-family voice - making a significant difference for generations to come. Thirty years is quite the milestone. And we want to celebrate it with the people that have made it all possible - you. What's more, we've got big plans for the future -- and Lord knows our children and grandchildren need us to stand up on their behalf now more than ever. Sarah Huckabee Sanders served as White House Press Secretary and has become one of the leading voices of her generation. A mother of three, she's someone with extraordinary talents whom TIME Magazine recognized as one of their "40 under 40." And she recognizes the importance of family. When TIME asked what is one of the most overlooked issues facing our nation, she responded, "America needs more fathers taking an active role in their children's lives." Her hero is her father, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, who has been a previous PA Family Institute banquet speaker and worked closely with our sister organization in Arkansas during his time as governor.
